What does hold-then-capture mean?
When a customer accepts your quote, Sparky places a hold on their payment card for the full amount via Stripe. The money isn't charged until the job is complete, but it's guaranteed to be there.
Do I pay any fees?
No. Sparky's 10% service fee is added on top of your quote and paid entirely by the customer. If you quote £200, you receive £200. The customer pays £220.
What happens if there's a dispute?
Because customers approve the exact quote before payment is held, disputes are rare. The 24-hour review window gives customers time to raise any concerns before payout is released.
Is my financial data secure?
