How much does Sparky charge?

Sparky uses a transparent fee-on-top pricing model that's fair for electricians. We charge a 10% service fee, but it's added on top of your quote—not taken from it. Here's how it works: if you quote a £50 call-out fee, the customer pays £55 (your £50 plus our £5 fee), and you receive the full £50 you quoted. You never lose money to platform fees. This is different from many platforms that take a percentage of your earnings. If you don't charge a call-out fee (some electricians only charge hourly rates), there's no platform fee at all. The fee covers the cost of finding customers, handling payment processing, providing secure messaging, and managing the booking system. You're free to set your prices to remain competitive in your area. We don't dictate pricing—you maintain full control over your rates. There are no subscription fees, listing fees, or hidden charges. You only pay the 10% service fee when you successfully complete a paid job through Sparky.
